About 65 minutes from Santa Martha to the boat

TUI BLUE Curaçao opens on November 1, 2026, at Groot Santa Martha on the west of the island. We want to be upfront: our boats don't leave from there. Every trip leaves from Fisherman's Harbor, Caracasbaai 1, on Spanish Water in the southeast. Locals also call it Vissershaven. From Santa Martha, the drive is about 65 minutes, longer at rush hour.

We don't pick up by boat at Santa Martha. Every trip starts and ends at the harbor, and we send the exact meeting point before your trip, by email and WhatsApp. More in our Fisherman's Harbor guide.

Every trip is private. The boat, the captain and the crew are for your group only, never shared with strangers. Discover Curaçao is an independent boat charter company and is not affiliated with TUI BLUE Curaçao.

Let a premium SUV do the driving

The easy way to cover the distance is hotel pickup. Add it when you book and tell us you are staying at TUI BLUE Curaçao. A premium SUV drives you to the harbor and brings you back to the hotel after the trip. It costs $150 per car, with up to 4 guests in each car, so a group of 6 needs two cars, $300 in total. Pickup works from anywhere on the island.

Trips that leave at 08:00 board at 07:45. Because of the drive from Santa Martha, your pickup will be earlier than from hotels near the harbor. You get your exact pickup time by WhatsApp and in your booking confirmation.

Driving yourself? Parking at the harbor is free, though it gets busy on Sundays. No car yet? You can rent one from Rent Car Curaçao Deals. If you don't book pickup, you arrange your own way to the harbor and back.

Make the drive worth it with a full day

With more than two hours on the road there and back, make the day on the water a long one. Two trips fit best:

• Klein Curaçao, full day. 8 hours, 08:00 to 16:00, from $1,999. About an hour each way across open water to an uninhabited island with a lighthouse, a shipwreck and white sand. The full day gives you the afternoon on the island and a reef stop on the way home.
• Westpunt Hopping. 7 hours, 08:00 to 15:00, from $1,999. Four beaches: Cas Abou, Kenepa Grandi, Playa Forti and Playa Piskadó, where green turtles feed. The captain sets the order on the day, and when the sea allows, we make a quick stop at the Blue Room.

Want more time? Add an extra hour, $300 on the Scout 355 or $400 on the Scout 420. An early departure or a late return is $125 each; ask when you book.

Shorter trips, on a day you are in town anyway

These suit a day you are already in Willemstad or near Spanish Water.

• Cas Abou, 5 hours, 08:00 to 13:00, from $1,599.
• Sunset Cruise, 3 hours, 16:00 to 19:00, from $850. We run along the coast all the way to Handelskade, the colorful Willemstad waterfront, and turn back there.
• Snorkel & Chill, 3 hours, departs 08:00, 12:00 or 16:00, from $799. Fine for weak swimmers: life vests and noodles on board, and the crew is in the water with you.
• Snorkel & Coastline, 3 hours, departs 08:30 or 12:30, from $799.
• Fuik Day, every Sunday, 14:00 to 18:00, from $1,099.
• Custom charter, from $400 an hour, any route you like.

On board, and which boat

The boat has a toilet, a shaded lounge, an air-conditioned cabin, a freshwater shower and a grill. The captain, fuel, towels, snorkel masks and fins, soft drinks, water, ice and a first aid kit are included. Just bring your own reef-safe sunscreen.

Choose a food and drink package when you book. With Basic, you're welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Grilling your own food on board isn't allowed. Standard and Luxury add food and drinks on board, priced per guest and shown when you book.

Our Scout 355 takes up to 14 guests and books online. The Scout 420 takes up to 18 guests and rides smoother in a swell, a plus on the open-water crossing to Klein Curaçao. It books online for trips from November 15, 2026. Before that, ask us on WhatsApp. Its boat price and food packages are 25% above the Scout 355, and other add-ons cost the same. Meet the fleet.

Booking, weather and cancellation

Pick a trip and a date online. A 50% deposit holds your date, and the balance is due 48 hours before departure. Trips less than a week away are paid in full when you book.

Cancel for any reason up to 7 days before your trip for a full refund. Less than 7 days before, there is no refund. See our cancellation policy. The weather call is the captain's, made on the morning. If we cancel, you choose a new date or a full refund, never a voucher. The details are in our terms.
