Booking terms
1. Your booking
A booking is confirmed once your deposit or full payment is received, or, for cash and bank transfer requests, once we confirm it by email. Every charter is private to your group; we never combine parties.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and cover the whole boat for your group size, the trip, and the package and add-ons you choose. A 50% deposit reserves the date and the balance is due 48 hours before departure. Trips less than a week away are paid in full at booking. Gratuity is not included.
3. Cancellations
Free cancellation for any reason up to 7 days before departure, with a full refund. See the cancellation policy.
4. Guests
The number of guests you book is the number on board, up to the boat’s capacity. Tell us about children, infants, allergies and anything the crew should know when you book.
5. Departure
We depart from Fisherman's Harbor, Caracasbaai, Caracasbaai 1, Willemstad, Curaçao. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure. The trip ends at the booked time, so a late arrival shortens it.
6. Safety and the captain
The captain is responsible for everyone on board. His instructions on safety, route, swimming and the weather are final, and he may change the route, stops or timing if conditions require it. Life jackets are on board for every guest, including children and infants.
7. On board
Please treat the boat, the crew and the reef with care. Damage caused by guests beyond normal use may be charged. The crew may refuse alcohol to anyone who is visibly intoxicated, and may end a trip early if safety is at risk.
8. Liability
Swimming, snorkelling and water toys are at your own risk. We are not responsible for personal belongings lost or damaged during the trip.

To cancel, email hello@letsdiscovercuracao.com or WhatsApp us with your booking reference. The date we receive your message is the date that counts.
If we cancel for weather
Weather is the captain’s call, made on the morning. If we cancel you reschedule to any open date or take a full refund, never a voucher.
Payments
- A 50% deposit reserves your date. The balance is due 48 hours before you sail.
- Trips less than a week away are paid in full when you book.
- Requests paid by cash or bank transfer are held for 72 hours; the date is only fully reserved once we receive payment.
Changes
Want to move your date or change your group? Message us and we’ll do our best to fit it in, depending on what’s free.
Privacy policy
What we collect
When you book: your name, email, WhatsApp number, trip details, and any allergies or notes you share with us. Payment card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
When you visit: Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel record how the site is used and which of our ads brought you here (pages, booking steps, your device type and rough location). If you are in a country where this needs your consent, they only do so once you accept cookies. We don’t send your name, email or phone number to Google or Meta.
Why
- To run your booking: confirm it, take payment, and send your trip details and balance reminders.
- To contact you about your trip on email or WhatsApp.
- If you start a booking and don’t finish it, we may send you up to two reminders, the second with a one-time discount code.

- Google (Gmail), for booking emails
- Google (Analytics), to measure how the site is used
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to measure our ads
- Vercel, which hosts this website
How long we keep it
For as long as we need it to run your booking and meet our accounting obligations.
