Private boat trips for guests of Art Hotel Curaçao and Pietermaai

From Pietermaai to the boat in about 20 to 25 minutes

Every trip leaves from Fisherman's Harbor, Caracasbaai 1, on Spanish Water. From Pietermaai the drive is about 20 to 25 minutes, and from Punda about 25, a little longer at rush hour. We send the exact meeting point before your trip, by email and WhatsApp.

Rather not drive? Add hotel pickup when you book and tell us your hotel. A premium SUV takes you to the harbor and back to your hotel after the trip, for $150 per car with up to 4 guests in each. For 08:00 trips, pickup is around 07:00, and you get the exact time by WhatsApp and in your booking confirmation.

Every trip is private, even for two. The boat and crew are for your group only, never shared with strangers.

The Sunset Cruise runs to the downtown waterfront

If you do one trip from Pietermaai, make it this one. You leave the harbor at 16:00 and cruise Spanish Water past the mansions and mangroves, with a swim stop around 17:00. Then the boat runs along the coast all the way to Handelskade, the colorful waterfront of Willemstad, and turns back there as the sun goes down. That is the high point: the city you are staying in, seen from the sea at golden hour.

The cruise is 3 hours, back at the harbor at 19:00, from $850 for the whole private boat.

One thing to know: we don't drop guests off at Handelskade. The boat turns there and heads back to the harbor. On request, we can drop you off along the way back, for example at Mood Beach (Mambo), Jan Thiel or Caracasbaai. See the Sunset Cruise.

Made for two: proposals, anniversaries and honeymoons

Here as a couple? We host proposals, anniversaries, honeymoons and birthdays. The boat is yours, so the plan is too.

• Sunset Cruise, for a proposal or an anniversary. Golden hour, the waterfront, and nobody else on board but the crew.
• Klein Curaçao, for a long day away. About an hour across open water to an uninhabited island with a lighthouse, a shipwreck and white sand. 6 hours, 08:00 to 14:00, from $1,599, or the full 8 hours, 08:00 to 16:00, from $1,999.

A few add-ons: - A celebration cake, $50, with candles if you want them. - The Content Creator Package, $300. One of our three in-house content creators shoots photos and video on board, drone shots included. Ask to see a portfolio first. - A private chef, $750, booked at least 3 days ahead. The chef cooks at a table at the front of the boat, and you cook along at a shared grill. Ask us on WhatsApp which trips it suits.

What is on board, and what to bring

The boat has a toilet, a shaded lounge, an air-conditioned cabin, a freshwater shower and a grill. The captain and crew, fuel, towels, snorkel gear, soft drinks, water and ice are included. Just bring your own reef-safe sunscreen.

With the Basic food and drink package, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Grilling your own food on board isn't allowed. Standard and Luxury add food and a bar on board, priced per guest.

Our boats

Our Scout 355 takes up to 14 guests. The Scout 420 takes up to 18, rides smoother in a swell, and books online for trips from November 15, 2026. Before that, ask us on WhatsApp. Its boat price is 25% above the Scout 355.

How booking works

Pick a trip and a date online. A 50% deposit holds your date, and the balance is due 48 hours before departure.

Cancel for any reason up to 7 days before your trip for a full refund. Less than 7 days before, there is no refund. See our cancellation policy. The weather call is the captain's, made on the morning. If we cancel, you reschedule or take a full refund, never a voucher. More in our terms and FAQ.
