Sandals Royal Curaçao sits on Spanish Water, the sheltered lagoon. Our boats leave from Fisherman's Harbor in Caracasbaai, on the same lagoon. By road it's about 25 minutes around the water.

Every trip is private. The boat, the captain and the crew are yours, and you pay for the boat, not per seat. Our starting price covers 1 to 4 guests, so the two of you pay the same as four.

Four trips that suit two

Of all our boat trips, these four work best for couples. Prices are for the whole private boat on the Scout 355, and 9% OB tax is added at checkout.

Sunset Cruise. 3 hours, from $850. Board at 15:45 and cast off at 16:00. We cruise Spanish Water past the mansions and mangroves and stop for a swim. Then we run along the coast all the way to Handelskade, the colorful Willemstad waterfront, and turn back there as the sun goes down. Back at the harbor by 19:00. On request we can drop you on the way back, for example at Mood Beach, Jan Thiel or Caracasbaai. See the Sunset Cruise.

Klein Curaçao. 6 hours from $1,599, or a full day from $1,999. An uninhabited island about an hour across open water. White sand, a lighthouse, a shipwreck and turtles in the shallows. We leave at 08:00. The 6-hour trip is back by 14:00, the 8-hour full day by 16:00. The crossing is open water, so it isn't always a flat ride. See Klein Curaçao.

Snorkel & Chill. 3 hours, from $799. Snorkel the Tugboat wreck and the old pier, drift over a quiet coral strip, then anchor in Fuik's cove for one last swim. Leave at 08:00, 12:00 or 16:00. Cas Abou. 5 hours, from $1,599. A morning up the west coast. We stop at a secluded beach for a swim and a snorkel, then drop anchor at Cas Abou. Out at 08:00, back at 13:00. See Cas Abou.

Private boat or shared resort excursion?

A shared resort excursion suits plenty of people. Here's what changes when the boat is yours.

• Only your people on board. No strangers on deck and no fixed seats.
• Your own space. Rest in the shaded lounge or the air-conditioned cabin, and play your own music.
• Room for a big moment. We do proposals, anniversaries and honeymoons. Tell us your plan when you book. Add a celebration cake for $50, or the Content Creator Package for $300: one of our three in-house creators shoots photos and video on board, drone shots included. Ask to see a portfolio first. • Food and drinks your way. With the Basic package you may bring your own food and drinks. Grilling your own food on board isn't allowed. Standard and Luxury add an open bar and food. A private chef, $750, booked at least 3 days ahead, cooks at a table at the front of the boat while you cook along at a shared center grill. Ask us on WhatsApp which trips it suits.

The honest trade-off: a shared trip costs less per person. A private one costs more and gives you the whole boat.

Getting from Sandals to Fisherman's Harbor

Every trip leaves from Fisherman's Harbor, Caracasbaai 1, on Spanish Water. Locals also call it Vissershaven. From Sandals Royal Curaçao it's about 25 minutes by road, longer at rush hour. We send the exact meeting point before your trip, by email and on WhatsApp.

Hotel pickup. Add it when you book and tell us your hotel. A premium SUV takes you to the harbor and back to your hotel after the trip, $150 per SUV for up to 4 guests. Pickup works from anywhere on the island. For the 07:45 morning boarding, pickup is around 07:00. Your exact pickup time comes by WhatsApp and in your booking confirmation.

Making your own way. Parking at the harbor is free, though it gets busy on Sundays. No car yet? You can rent one from Rent Car Curaçao Deals. The Sunset Cruise is back at 19:00, so plan your ride home before you sail.

Good to know

Included on every trip: the private boat, captain and crew, fuel, soft drinks, water and ice, snorkel masks and fins, towels, a Bluetooth sound system, wifi and a first aid kit. The boat has a toilet, a freshwater shower and a grill.

Bring swimwear, a hat, sunglasses and your own reef-safe sunscreen.

A 50% deposit reserves your date, and the balance is due 48 hours before you sail. Cancel for any reason up to 7 days before your trip for a full refund. Inside 7 days there's no refund. The Scout 420 books online for trips from November 15, 2026, at a boat price 25% above the Scout 355 (for earlier dates, ask us on WhatsApp). Want your own route?
